Abstract Concept

An Asset Type is a Class of Individual which is used in the description of the enterprise and its systems, such as Action Processes, Department Types, Applications, Location Types, Period Types.

Conceptualization Levels of Asset Type: an Asset Type is either a Conceptual Asset or a Resource Asset
Temporal Status of Asset Type: an Asset Type is either an Asset State Type or a Whole Life Asset Type
Structural Partition of Asset Type: an Asset Type is either a Period Type, a Functional Asset or a Location Type

Functional Domain: Architecture Assets

The Architecture Assets domain defines top level constructs used in enterprise architecting: Asset Types, Asset Category(ies), Asset Property(ies).
